1. Fire and Special Perils
This Section provides you with coverage for your property against loss or damage by fire or lightning. You may extend coverage for extended perils by paying additional premium.
   
2. All Risks (excluding laptop, notebook, palm-top & mobile phone) 
This Section provides cover against loss or damage to your property caused by fire, theft or any other accident or misfortune whilst contained in the premises.
   
3. Burglary & Armed Robbery (including Hold-Up)
This Section provides cover against loss or damage to your property caused by theft consequent upon actual forcible and violent entry into your premises including the risk of armed robbery and/or hold up.
 
4. Money
This Section provides cover for money lost, destroyed or damaged whilst in transit or kept in your premises.
 
5. Plate Glass
This Section provides cover when the fixed glass in your premises is/are accidentally damaged.
   
6.     Public Liability
This Section provides cover against all sums which you may become legally liable to pay compensation to any third party in respect of:
i) bodily injury or illness to any person
ii) loss or damage to property
as a result of an accident arising out of your negligence in connection with your business in the premises.
 
7. Employer’s Liability
This Section provides cover against liability at law to pay compensation to your employee(s) in respect of accidental bodily injury or illness sustained whilst in the course of employment.
   
8. Fire Consequential Loss
This Section provides you with coverage for loss of profits, revenue, rental, standing charges, wages or salaries on payroll basis and increase in cost of working due to business interruption as a result of fire and/or other extended perils. You may extend to cover Loss of Profit following an event which prevents or hinders access to your premises provided Prevention of Access is extended and subject to an additional premium.
   
9. Fidelity Guarantee 
This Section provides cover against any direct pecuniary loss you may sustain through act(s) of dishonesty by your employee(s) such as act(s) of forgery, embezzlement, larceny or fraudulent conversion. The coverage is not limited to loss of monies but also covers loss of real property and merchandise (stock-in-trade) belonging to you.
 
10.   Group Personal Accident
This Section provides 24-hours worldwide cover to you and your employees against death or permanent disablement or medical expenses due to an accident.

Auto Partner Motor Insurance Claim Guideline



INSURED TO DO

  1. Contact our Auto Partner Hotline No. 03 2716 8981 or Toll Free Line 1-800-88-1301 for tow truck services.
  2. Report the accident to the Police immediately or within 24 hours;
  3. Send the damaged vehicle to TMIM’s Panel Workshop of your choice for repairs;
  4. Notify the loss or damage to TMIM at Tel. No.03 2026 9875 or our Branch Officer at the contact number provided as soon as possible
  5. and obtain Claim Form for completion and return with the requisite documents;
  6. Do not admit liability or make any offer to Third Party;
  7. Forward all correspondence/notice of claim from Third Party unanswered to Insurers immediately;


DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

OWN DAMAGE

  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Police Report;
  • Estimate of repairs;
  • Photocopy of Driver’s Identity Card or Passport and Driving License;
  • Photocopy of Insured’s Identity Card or Passport and Driving License;
  • Photocopy of Registration Card (both sides) and Road-tax disc;


OWN DAMAGE KFK (No Fault)

  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Signed Declaration Letter;
  • Police Report;
  • Third Party’s Police Report;
  • Police investigations/outcome report/compound on the party at fault;
  • Identity/name of third party’s Insurer (copy of insurance policy if any);
  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Estimate of repairs;
  • Photocopy of Driver’s Identity Card or Passport and Driving License;
  • Photocopy of Insured’s Identity Card or Passport and Driving License;
  • Photocopy of Registration Card (both sides) and Road-tax disc.


WINDSCREEN DAMAGE

  •  Completed Claim Form;
  • Photographs of the damaged windscreen (close-up) and full view of vehicle showing registration number before and after repair;
  • Photocopy of Registration Card;
  • Photocopy of Insured and Driver’s Identity Cards or Passports and Driving Licenses;
  • Replacement Bill/Receipt.


THEFT / TOTAL LOSS

  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Police Report;
  • Original Registration Card;
  • Original Policy and Certificate of Insurance;
  • Legible copy of the hire purchase agreement;
  • Photocopy of Insured and Driver’s Identity Cards or Passports and Driving Licenses;
  • Full set of keys to vehicle;
  • JPJ K3 form duly signed by Insured (rubber stamp if under business company name);
  • Duly signed JPJ Lampiran A ’1’ – Letter of Indemnity;
  • Duly signed Lampiran B – Borang Akuan;
  • Letter of Release from hire purchase or finance company if applicable;
  • Certified copy of Memorandum & Article of Association (for limited company).

 

THIRD PARTY PROPERTY DAMAGE/THIRD PARTY BODILY INJURY

  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Police Report;
  • Police sketch plan with key;
  • Photocopy of Insured and Driver’s Identity Cards or Passports and Driving Licenses;
  • Photocopies of Registration Card and Road Tax Disc;
  • Correspondence or notice of claim from Third Party claimant/solicitors.
